ZOKA

Site safety is an important aspect of construction management. Only authorised persons are allowed to enter the construction site and only diesel engined vehicles fitted with particular filters may be used in tunnels. On complex projects, it is necessary to monitor the people on site to ensure that, in the event of an incident, rescue teams can be rapidly deployed and coordinated.

Alarm systems can be installed with acoustic or optical signals to warn personnel in the tunnel or to initiate an evacuation.

Regular monitoring of air quality and water levels can be done from a central point.  Fans (operated from the control centre) can be switched on when air quality drops below the specified values.

We have developed a specially designed system for this and many other tasks: ZOKA
ZOKA is a German acronym that stands for access, positioning, communications and alarm - the four key components of a system that is designed to ensure proper safety and coordination on site. Would you like to know more?
