Bahnbau Wels has established a good name in Austria as a specialist in mechanised track construction. Years of experience and extensive in-house capacity make this Rhomberg subsidiary unique.  All repairs, inspections and modifications to the machines are carried out by the company itself.  Since 2004, our workshops are also acknowledged by the ÖBB (Austrian federal railway company), to carry out maintenance on auxiliary vehicles.

Due to expansion and internationalisation, the family of Austrian companies has gained new members.  The Rhomberg subsidiary, Rhomberg Rail Australia (formerly known as Track Australia), is active in the Australian track construction market. In Turkey we entered a joint venture, as Rhomberg-Kalebozan.
